Honda Motor Co. Ltd. unveiled the picture of the vehicles shown at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show held in 29 October.

Among the many vehicles, the 'Light Weight Super Sports Concept' stands out as it seems to be the prototype of the new Honda CBR250RR supersports motorcycle.

Honda claims the vehicle is designed with stress on strong presence. In a statement, the automaker stated that the super sport concept model features a look that possesses a sense of speed derived from its long nose and low crouching position.

A closer look at the released picture indicates that the motorcycle will be powered by a parallel-twin engine. The bike features upside-down forks that will give advantage to Honda over the rivals of Kawasaki, Yamaha and KTM. The motorcycle features disc at front and rear wheels and there is a trellis frame behind that sharp bodywork

The overall design shows sharp edges and athletic stance emphasising the aggressive look. The look is further complemented by the exterior featuring matte-black-based low-contrast graphics. Additionally, an Akrapovic exhaust system can be seen underlining a raucous exhaust note.

The Honda CBR250RR will be pitted against the Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC390 and recently launched Yamaha YZF-R3.

This is what Honda has to say about the all-new 2016 Honda CBR250RR Supersport bike -
'Designed with the key phrase “strong presence,” this next-generation super sport concept model and features a look possessing a sense of speed that comes from its long nose and low crouching position. The combination of a plane architecture, which indicates the sense of hardness and solidity, and sharp edges emphasize the aggressive look of this model. Moreover, the exterior featuring matte-black-based low-contrast graphics expresses beauty and the remarkable form.'
